May

We had a trail riding posse come through the farm a few days ago.
I tried to get a good pic of the 7 riders and their mounts heading down Barker Lane
to the back fields and the river but this is the best I could do.

Chicken-Tree-Pose.
This and the simultaneous wing/leg stretch that looks kinda like
Ardha Chandrasana (half-moon pose) seem to be regular chicken exercises.

Look at this cutie. The Blue Laced Red Wyandotte chicks are now 4 weeks old.
Here you can start to see the blue edge to their red feathers (hence "blue lace").

Rhubarb is here! And it's selling.

Noami weeding her "Sprouted Acre." This was, perhaps, the last sunny day
we'll have for over a week.

One of Noami's many young cabbage plants.

Love your chicks! I was watching some similarly aged chickens the neighbor has and saw them doing half-moon pose too! So funny!
